What the heck is that?

I found this option in the option screen and wondered...

Can anyone tell more about this?

It allows you (if you have multiple computers) to show the game in one screen and the world map in another.

I thought of something like this and tried to connect two computers, without success. Any hints?

It's not really a supported feature, more of a curiosity to see what might happen. I haven't seen any official documentation for it anywhere.
