to be a networkable........

what i mean is your hacking the same system....
then the other one is the ladder while the one
is the actualy hacking the system...

Unfortunately, that's not possible.
To make it online, the game would have to be almost completely rewritten.
Uplink has only limited modification capability.

There are a number of unsupported and badly-named features that do not really work. I don't remember exactly, but I think that is actually for multiple screens?

All it's for is a multi-screen function. Not coop play. If you had the computer in a different room it would be impossible to play. All it means you can do is put three computers together, display the World Map on one, personal status/software/emails etc on another and the main screen on your main monitor. It's fun but not coop play.

You know, this is kind of the same thing as multiplayer EV.
Many people think that it would be very cool, but it just would take to
much work to make it worth it.
