Yeah, me again.

Sorry guys, I should really know Unix better than this, being a computer student and all, but how the heck does one run RevelationTracer on ARC's site (can't remember the exact name)? I've tried run program RevelationTracer, run program revelationTracer, run program tracer...is there something I should know here?

When you mess with the console don't forget to type
cd log
delete

By the way, is there any way in which to delete the logs more fully. Because once I logged into the acess logs of a computer that I was destroying, and it just said:
(Log Deleted)
(Log Deleted)
(Log Deleted)
and so on, which is easy to UnDelete.

You don't acutally need to delete the logs on the server, usually its just a waste of time. Think of it this way: the authorities will start with those logs and continue along your path. When they reach InterNIC or whatever else you use for your first jump, and find nothing there, they have to give up.

In other words, the only logs that are necessary to delete are the ones on your first jump. Just delete them all, there's no point picking and choosing. Always use the top level Log Deleter, or you're wasting your time and getting yourself into potential trouble.

I knew that they couldn't trace me if I delete my first connection logs.
But I thought (For at least some missions) you don't want them to know what you are doing.

Nah, they're going to figure out what you're doing one way or the other. Deleting your logs for that reason is like robbing a jewelry store and cleaning up the glass you broke before leaving.

Well, if you just copy a file, they won't know it if you clean it up well enough.

But yeah, deleting logs on the hacked machine is pretty much a waste of time.
