When you pay online, they send you an email with the registration code. After, you'll have to enter the code to unlock the demo version and have the full one.
In other words, you can't play the full version before you receive the mail with the code.

The email is email and not snail mail so it should go pretty quick. Still haven't registered but I am thinking about it.
