I open Uplink, go through the opening screens, then I get to the screen for registering a new player. I enter my name and my password twice, then I click DONE. Then. . . nothing. The music's still playing, and the mouse still moves, but I don't go to another screen and I can't click on anything. The same happens when I finish typing my password twice then press RETURN. I've tried starting with base extensions, and it's the exact same deal. If someone could help me, I would be very grateful!

I am running a G4 Cube with MacOS 9.2.2

Try reinstalling Uplink and see if that works. I know it might be a hassle, but sometimes things get messed up in the process of unstuffing and instalation.
