Hello from all the members of The Ninth Kingdom!
Today (Monday, December 9th, 2002) is the 2-year anniversary of the One Big World project, which was more recently renamed The Ninth Kingdom. We've been working on the OBW project for a very long time now (2 years; go figure...) and we know everyone has been very anxious to see what we've been working on and get some sort of idea of how the levels will be. Because of this, we decided to release a 4-level teaser for OBW to tide you over until we're finished. 
The four levels are:
Escape from the CMP , by PCheese, from the Cave Kingdom
The Bridge , by AVN, from the Lava Kingdom
The Surface , by AVN, from The Lost Mines
Tempest Fugit , by LizWiz, from the Forest Kingdom
None of the above levels include the custom artwork that we've created, as it would be difficult to install and not really worth it just to play a single level. These levels are completely out of order, and not even from the same kingdom. That said, enjoy! Go die repeatedly or whatever it is people do with our levels...
Most of our better levels have been saved for the real Ninth Kingdom, so keep waiting... we're getting closer and closer to release. When The Ninth Kingdom is finished, it will contain over 60 new levels, 11 different kingdoms, and 15 new selections of music, as well as new tile sets, backgrounds, titles, and sprites. Until then, you can play these levels again and again and again and again and... Uh, yeah. Enjoy!
