OK I might be a bit thick.
I've been playing about two days know (real time) and have taken on a couple of the donation jobs.
I transfer funds from one account to the other.
Deleted the statement logs (Log Del v4)
Deleted all the server logs within admin.
From both banks and bank accounts ( one at a time) bt the swines won't pay up.
I tried bouncing but fiqured since I could connect direct with Proxy and Monitor disabliers v5 without generating a trace I'd have few logs to clean up. (ie no InterNIC) is there a trading house or something else which keeps a trace of banks transfers they are not telling us about.

Reply to the eMail BEFORE you delete the logs, otherwise, they will say you havn't done it yet. In fact, you dont have to delete the logs at all, you can complete the mission without it.

Also, ALWAYS use InterNIC, even if you have disablers because a passive trace will be started sooner or later, and banks passive traces take minutes...

Incorrect. You never need to delete the statements, but if you dont delete your own logs you will be disavowed

I just had to add this because it's so cruel. If you need to retransfer inorder to complete the mission but, the target doesn't have enough money, have him take out a loan to cover the cost!

Yes but you can only take out so much of a loan, and t may not be enough...

i never hack into the bank admin account simply because it takes to long. I just delete my logs at InterNIC and i have never been disavowed for hacking into a bank beceause i didnt delete my logs there.

Heh I always do this when I'm doing traces for big money (it seems like I never do anymore.. do those missions stop being available at higher Uplink Agent levels? I'm "Elite" and they never show up!) Sure, its 1,000 out of a 1,000,000 credit transfer, but its fun to make people even more pissed off and have nothing they can do about it!

I'm pretty sure a lot of the fun of games like this is to put yourself in the place of a hacker, and use your imagination. Games lose their fun if you turn it into a chore to do this mission, raise your level, destroy this system, send this guy to jail. If you actually role-play a little bit, I find it more exciting. shrugs
