I'm kind of a noob to this game, and I think I may have made a major mistake. When you order hardware, and you already have a motion detector, does the Uplink Tech who installs it trigger the motion detector?? Because I saw the motion bar was yellow, then it turned red, and I paniced and self-destructed my brand new Paralell Super-Computer.

It's a motion detector. Anyone, good or bad, who comes near it is going to set it of. So, yeah, you blew up your gateway and likely killed the Uplink technician who was installing your new Hardware.

My motion sensor is always red and says more than one person is near the computer. Should I worry?
But, wasn't he attempting to raise carma because he lost alot for being annoying?

There is an issue where sometimes the montion sensor will always be red. This should be fixed in a future version.

If your motion sensor works, i believe when it turns red the feds are about arrest you(disavow you).

Computers that only allow for one. If you have a motion detector and you see it go off, there is nothing you can do. If you only have the self destruct, there is no way to tell when they are near. What is the point??

No point at all. Which, I suppose, is the point. Once you figure that out, you'll know not to bother getting the gateways with one security slot.
Also no point to having 3 security slots. At least, not until they come out with a mod that adds another possible one to buy.
