If the company refuses to give you all the money up front, just say you don't want the mission, then select it again and click "contact" again, and you get to try asking for it again. This way, as long as you have a clean criminal record, you can get the money up front for any mission, it usually just takes 2 or 3 tries.

Yeah so what is so special about getting the money up front?? Unless you need it to buy software to do the hack I prefer to get the money afterwards as a nice reward.

And although the E-mail says they send you the money again even after they give it to you up front you only get it once.

At the very beginning of the game, if you accept of couple missions and get money upfront, you can immediately purchase Trace tracker V.4, Log deleter V.4, and Password Cracker. This allows you to be far more discreet in your initial hacks, and makes it less likely that you'll be caught later down the road.
