      I guess I'm used to more free and open boards.... why was my thread closed?

      Simple answer : Because it was useless and there was no point in keeping it alive as it was obviously not going to fade away, otherwise it would have been left to die.

      Your opinion is dually noted and ignored. I want to know how the authorization routine works and if it phones home. I don't feel I was answered to my full satisfaction.
