I've worked on "The Dark side" all morning, and it is coming along quite nicely. it is about 25% complete. I don't think the secret level will make 0.4. Levels tale a looong time to make,a nd I have to make anotherby sunday.
Starcraft was carbonized today! Now only if ferazel was... :frown:

**It's not a Mascot term, per se. It is what is necessary to have a program run in Mac OS X.
I'm sure someone with a better technical jargon will explain it more fully....------------------

Sure. There are three environments in OS X: cocoa, carbon, and classic. Cocoa is stuff that is made just for OS X, and does not run under 9. Carbon apps run in both OS 9 and OS X. Classic apps run in OS 9, and they run in the classic environment in X, which is basically an emulator for 9 for running all your old programs. Classic programs run under the classic Mac OS appearance (not aqua) and run slower than if they were running in 9. There may be bugs, it might not run at all (mascot and freazel run fine) Also, 3D programs can't be hardware accelerated. (Myth II runs, but it looks absolutely terrible) So, you want your programs to be either carbon or cocoa. I want ferazel to be carbonized so I can get rid of classic once and for all so I can free up memory space. ( Classic is a memory hog.) Ferazel is the sole app that I am using in Classic. So, Ben, carbonize ferazel! I'm sure he'd love to swim in aqua. Hey, I already bought an additional copy of ferazel for a friend, and I'm planning on buying 2 more in January for some more friends. What else do you want me to do?

Cat99 - I don't think you'll be getting Carbonized Ferazel or Mascot anytime soon. In classic accounting terms, the ROI (return on investment) would be negatory!
Perhaps you should just buy an old drive just for Ferazel/Mascot.

Well, Sunday has come and gone, hasn't it? I'm halfway done with one level, and I still have to make the other...well, that's 2 release days I haven't been able to meet!
