I have two more FG maps to make in GraphicConverter. Hopefully I'll complete those my saturday, and I'll have the 5-day weekend to make and test the remaining levels, and release it next sunday. If homework is light, I should be able to pull it off.

Wednesday is a teacher workday, no school. Thursday and friday there's no school because of thanksgiving. And of course, Sat and sun. that's 5 days to work on ferazel!
I have completed the ice level called Ice Age. It will be in Orthographic Universe 0.5 along with five other levels at the end of January.
I am toying around with a new website design. It's very hard when all you have is netscape communicator and a trial version of photoshop

One of the best html editors for the Mac is Page Spinner. It is shareware so you can download it and try it out. Netscape Communicator is a total pain to work with because it keeps trying to change your html tags. It can be got from:

just wondering... are you going to split the image up or turn it into an image map?
if you want to keep the full image intact layers might be your best bet.
for complex html I highly recomend Macromedia Dreamweaver, a thirty day trial is avalible at macromedia.com.
layers are very random if you would like I could give you a few pointers, or you might have chosen how you want to do it.

The same applies to Macromedia Fireworks which is a really spectacular image crunching machine. I don't use Dreamweaver much myself because I prefer PageSpinner but Fireworks is an absolute must for professional web design. Macromedia do an education package as well at a fraction of the commercial price.

With your website links, when you are going off site (ie the link to Dr Tall's page) you need to add a target to the link line or you end up with ever increasing frames - which is a pain. - target="top" - will open the link in a new window, and - target="_top" - will open it in the same window but will remove the frames. The link to Dr Tall land should look like this

Humph! I pittle on your weak little image based programs. I have design huge websites with nothing but SimpleText and Photoshop. However, I now use BBEdit. A good place to get HTML experience is htmlgoodies.com. Also, make sure you test all your websites in Netscape (the browser, not the web site creator.) IE will let code slip, it doesn't care. Netscape is like a very strict teacher, it wants your code perfect. If it works in Netscape it works anywhere.

Well no! Not exactly - in fact not at all really. If you write in Netscape for the Mac there is a high chance that it will not work on the PC version or any Explorer version under 5 on either Mac or PC. And Netscape is an absolute pain when it comes to asp and cascading style sheets. Trying to balance html in these four main browsers is the bane of my existence, and whilst I have nothing but loathing for PC's I have customers who use them.
