BTW, if you make a black lightmap all over the level, it doesn't make it pitch black, it just makes it really dark.

Wow I worked hard this weekend. On orthographic Universe, that is. I've almost placed all the sprites––that's about 80% complete. Then I have to do one conversation, and fix all the info fields.

The Bad News

I have Midterm tests next week, so I am going to have no time whatsoever to work on Ortho. Universe. Too bad my school has macs––I could bring Mascot and my world on a Zip and work on it during my 1.5 hour lunch period. Oh, wait a minute. the crapy PC's don't even have zip drives––only floppies that have gone the way of the dodo bird. Heh. ABout half of the Pcs in the library don't even work.

The Good News

Starting the 21st, My Winter break officially starts. I'll have a LOT of time to work on ortho. Universe then. That is, as long as LOTR, EV: NOVA, Deus EX, TOny Hawk Pro Skater 2, and Otto matic don't goble up all of my time!

Kevin Kelley of (url="http://"http://www.sol3.knkonline.net")sol3.knkonline.net(/url) has agreed to make a 8-level mini-level set to merge with Orthographic Universe. It is going to be really cool! Half of his levels will homefully be in Orthographic Universe 0.5 sometime in late January.

Yay! 2 LOTR tickets are all mine! Friday at 6! I can't wait!

I can't get the plaque in my level to work right, though.

Its info(0) property is set to 290, which is my convo's ID.
The convo has 4 parts, and the 4th one has one response ("Interesting...") that skips to line #20.

But, when I walk in front of the sprite, I don't get anything. It justs pretends it's not there.

Help??

You've done everything right, that just happens sometimes. Just make sure you put your plaque in a place where ferazel can "grab it" easily.

Correction: the first TWO levels are lacking. You haven't gotten to Hurricane yet. Dr. tall loved that level, and I value HIS opinion more than yours. And I don't think it is fair to say that FoK will "kill" all other level sets since you haven't played Dr. Tall land.

Best way to do plaques is copy the conversation from the original levels using ResEdit and then paste it into your level. That's the only way I get mine to work.

RevenantChaos got me sick :mad: so I was unable to see LOTR. And, the movie is sold out 'till next week. EV: Nova did NOT come out––it looks like we'll see it early January––and Classic quit, making me do a whole conversation in Mascot. The only 2 good things that happened were that The Dark Side came to be 90% completed and I got to play THPS2 a bunch.
