Just released Orthogrpahic Universe 0.4b3 to beta testers. Changes include:
(some stuff I cut off <snip> because it revealed the gameplay/plot.)
Some more bug fixes have been fixed! (as well as a gameplay tweak.) Here's what's new:
Escape from Nightmares:
you can actually finish this level now! (no, really!)
A treasure chest gave you a gold coin instead of a gold key. Fixed.
Minor Cosmetic changes
Fire in the Caverns
Minor cosmetic fixes
A Habinabit in Need
sign correctly says, <snip>
Hurricane
minor conversation bug fixed.
Purple stuff doesn't harm you anymore
You now get the <snip>

I (i)still(i/) haven't gotten any beta reports from you. I have two levels left to debug, and then I'll be able to release OU along with my new website. But I need your bug reports first!! :frown:

Orthographic Universe 0.4b4 sent to "beta testers." FIxed misc. bugs in Hurricane. I suspect 2 more betas until final release!

Maybe this weekend. My beta testers still haven't risen out of their coma, so I am mainly doing all the testing myself. I have two more levels to test, and I can test and fix a level a day. That's a full day, with do schoolwork or distractions. Unfortunutely, my school workload has increased :frown:
Also, I was hoping to release OU with my new website. But Kevin has decided to work on Sol III all the time now :rolleyes:

Work has progressed on my website, or so I am told.
Hurricane is finally bug-free. The Dark Side shoulkd be renamed to 'the Buggy Side" platforms don't work, and I had a nasty spinblock problem, though that's all fixed now. If the platforms are the only major problem, and LizWiz helps me wih my permflags, and Habinabit Prison doe not have many bugs (I don't think it will) then I shall release my levels on sunday. If my website is completed next week, it will be released next week along with my website. We shall see...

OU 0.4 is100% Done! I made some patches so you don't need ResEdit to install, and fixed some monor problems, mainly some spelling errors. I've uploaded it to my website, but I'm waiting for RevenantChaos to upload the pages. Hopefully very soon....

I'd recommend you make an separate topic with an announcement about OU when it is available. (You might also start a new progress log - this one is pretty long anyway.)
