I have recently started playing Avara- once you get past how the game works it is fun!

      Questions
Does the weight matter. I noticed no difference when using a light/medium/heavy hull, expect that it seemed that take more damage before dying (and the amount of each weapon type I could carry.)

What do the boosters do. They seemed to do nothing expect make a cool sound.

When can I use the vertical motion key? Does it do anything?

      Thank you!

    • I'll try and answer your questions as simply as I can.

      1. Weight affects a few things. As you said, it affects how much damage you can take and how much weaponry you can hold. It also affects your agility (such as how high you can jump and how fast you run).

      2. Boosters simply boost up your health (which is indicated by the blue triangle type thing).

      3. You can use the vertical motion key at any time during the game. It moves you from a standing position to a crouching position. It is activated when you hold it down and move the mouse up or down with it.

      Hope this helps.

If you can't tell if it's working, release your scout and watch from it.

    • You guys are great! I had never tried using boosters when I was hurt, I thought they made the standard gun more powerful or something 🙂 Thank you.
