I just thought of something. The moderators must have an easy job-since nobody posts here very often...

Yea, seems like the only thing people want to do is spam...

Hey man, what's with that 'thing'?
I'M not spamming!!

And so the problem remained; lots of people were mean, and most of them were miserable, even the ones with digital watches. Many were increasingly of the opinion that they had all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place. And some said that the trees had been a bad move and that no one should ever have left the oceans. - Douglass Adams
What else is there really to do here?

Wow,
I go away for a week and find actual almost on-topic discussions.
Almost.

Accually, the other avara forums that you are reffering to are not run by avara.org, they are being run by Avara Level Design (www.netformz.com/ald/). And they were more lively things have kind of died down... Not much unlike Taz!, I am also supprised to see any acctivity here at all I thought there wouldn't be anything here
Ohh and Ralek, to get your pw back, just clikc on the "profile" link at the top of the page, then clikc on the "forgot your password?" link and then type in you e-mail and it will be sent to you Later, and keep these forums alive!

I won't get into which is "better", but it's definitely more active, which is a shame. There's really no reason why Robin Hood couldn't post the same news he does on the avara.org page to the Avara Newswire here.
There's also no reason why the fiction posted there couldn't be cross-posted here in the Avara Chronicles.
There's also no reason why the files that are release for Avara can't also be uploaded to the Avara Add-On Files areas.
We've set up some very easy to use resources, it would take very little work for them to be utilized, but no one seems to want to bother to do it... perhaps they'd rather just work on avara.org, and avara.net... which is fine, but it also seems like a waste to let this area languish.

Andrew, in reply to your "Perhaps they owuld rather work on avara.org or avara.net", I admit, they do work on Avara.org, but avara.net hardly has anyhting going on there... And I would love to work as an admin here, but uh, no one asked And as for Rob wanting to do his own thing, can't blaim him... It started out as a clan page, and evolved into what it is today, belive me, alsmot all avara clan leaders have had there own page, I know I have

Very True, oh Fearless Leader. However, I've made it a point not to go through that other site and pull stuff to post stuff here. I figured if Robin is an admin here and there, he should be the one to do that cross posting, if he chooses. I must say, though, I have not seen much activity from the other admins here.
As far as files, there have been a few released, and I have posted them here - notably Not AA and Living Levels being the last.

Well, at this time the only beta that would interest me would have to be Ragnarok. Basically, networkable internet games are my only interest at this point.
