Anyone know why ares crashes when i try to load a plugin for single player?

Are you simply dragging the plugin over the Ares icon?

It might need additional RAM...

i gave it the max for my computer 124 and it still didn't work, i don't think its a ram problem.

Hmmm... I run Ares off 30 with no problem. Aresfighter (as he is known at GameRanger) has also been having the same problem, in which he encounters an error. Did you update to a new OS recently?

By the way, it could be a corrupted plugin file. I've encountered that a few times...

hmm maybe... but ive downloaded almost all of the plugins and none of them have worked.

Did you try throwing away your ares preference file?
That usually clears all of my problems.

This issue has been raised before, and no solution found. I suggest you contact Ambrosia's technical support, as they might be able to deal with this better.
