    • Beta Testing report:

As with all third party levels (especially AVN's) I don't know if some things I perceive as bugs are actually bugs, or are done intentionally. With that proviso & caveat:

Magical Mystery Tour - used Myst potion from Famuese to get button. Used Ice pick to smash ice door. Still couldn't get through the passageway up to the Red Xichron, etc. Kept falling through a hole in the floor.

Same sort of problem in Queen Mab's Kingdom - swimming through the quick sand to below the door, run into some sort of obsticle. Can't get the door open - no key shows up to open in (so assume it opens the other way).

Are there other ways around (ie - I am just being dumb?) or are these bugs?

What hole? The secret buttons should have been reachable using the ice pick.

I will make that easier to notice by placing Xichrons. What is supposed to happen is this:
Fire at ridge in second breathing space at quicksand. This will reveal a small narrow room. which contains some health and a speed bonus which can help you make it through quicksand. There is also a eight-legged friend waiting for you up there. 🙂

How was Fameuse? Do the new level's seem decent? I will beta one more level: The Gaunlet before final release. Did you make it to the end of the Kingdom of Queen Mab? Any more suggested fixes?

    • I had found the way up into the narrow little room in Queen Mab's Kingdom (shouldn't that be a Queendom?), but once I'd grabbed the health crystal and the speed power up and when back down into the quicksand I could go no further left than where the door was up above me. Seemed to be some sort of barrier there. Haven't managed to get any further.

In Magical Mystery Tour: At area to get red xichron & shield - once I'd broken through the ice barrier using the ice pick (and had previously moved up the stone door with the button located elsewhere), I hit what seemed to be an invisible barrier and could not go any further into the chamber towards the save point, or up to the red Xichron & shield. There seems to be a hole in the floor which drops me down to the level below. If I managed to stay up the spiked ball kept whacking into me and I eventually died.

Fameuse: Pretty tough to win with what I had. Cheated. Sorry - don't like to do it, but seemed my skill level wasn't good enough to leap onto the clouds, fire at the proper time, dodge and whatever and not die before defeating the boss. Guess it would be easier if I had the shield, but seeing as you can't get the shield until afterwards..... After trying innumerable times I eventually FerazEdited and gave myself a couple of Rez necklaces and some magic potions (but that's it - nothing else) and then made it through. I guess I should've saved my potions from the previous levels, but didn't feel like starting the game all over again.

Other bug (or not?) Signs are empty (especially in Magical Mystery Tour secret route.)

Lot's of invisble barriers, huh? I will look it to that. I think it has something to with rock barriers moving. I will see what I can do to make Famuese easier, maybe make the platforms unmoving? Also, when I played it I could go back to the regeneration pool. I will also, check into the signs. I will also change the limited # of potions from Hadro to 3. Any other suggestions? I will post a fixd version on the same address soon.

I could see some purple sparklies in the water - is that where the regeneration pool is supposed to be? Didn't do a thing for me. The only way to get more health was the torches & the health powerup crystal. When I left I had 100% everything, so didn't think I'd missed anything. A purple pool would definitely be an asset.

      ------------------

    • I just deleted the moving platforms. 🙂 Now there are many stationary platforms to jump onto. The purple pool was buried under the Xichron. I will fix this to make it openly visible. I also added a sign which mentions the fact that you can return to the pool. Don't try the cold water it is... cold. I took away the health increase crystal. I was just using that durning my beta, because I skipped the first level. I tried to fix the Queendom ( 😉 ) of Queen Mab but had trouble addressing the problem. I added the Xichrons to make it easier to notice, but I couldn't see anything which would interfer with walking; the invisible wall you mentioned. I did fix the invisible wall in Magical Mystery Tour (I think.) I will go test my changes now.

    • Okay - found the pool in Fameuse. Makes life a little easier but I still die! Stationary platforms will be a big help, but don't make it TOO easy!

Perhaps leave the pool hidden but put another xichron lower so Ferazel has to dig to get it?

In Flight & Plight there is a Rez necklace which I have never been able to get - can get into the chamber, but the Rez necklace is in a little alcove. Is this "gettable"? (Am lusting after it as I need it now.)

For some reason all my "Magic" potions collected disappear when I'm in Magical Mystery Tour. This happen to anyone else (it's a Mystery!)

I won't make it too easy. The reason it is harder than the orginal is the cramped space.

I may, I remember I did this before, and it made a purple xichron which looked bad. But I will try again.

In Flight & Plight: that was just mean of me. It is unreachable. But I will make it accessable with a certain object found in one of the levels. :😉😉:nudge::nudge::

At what point do you lose your potions?
There will also be a Rez Neclace instead of a Mist Potion in Famuese

    • I've gone back to the beginning and started again. Didn't lose my potions this time. (did I use them and forget?....)

You should let Zelda know if she can test...

Let me know when the revised version is on the download page. (I finally figured out the password - cute!)

    • I'd like to test it if you'd got a copy handy, just e-mail it to me at maxmitzvah@hotmail.com.(compressed, please!)

      ------------------

    • Okay, there are a few bugs. Like MonsterLady said, you can't get through the barrier on the sand part, the door somehow extends al the way down. I tried to erase the door in MASCOT, but it was still there and I had to dig out a huge pit underneath to get past (in MASCOT) Otherwise, its great!

I e-mailed it to three other people, Zelda was one of them. I guess she hasn't had time to play it.

I will have a revised edition by next Wenesday, I hope.

FerazelFreak: Any tips on that crazy door?

    • Yeah, how about putting something (scenery)in the sand to cover up the invisible barrier (leave the door in to frustrate people) and digging out a pit just before the barrier with more sand and air bubbles so the person has to go down and then up (with spikes on the side to make it cruel). That's how I got past it in MASCOT.

You called me a reserve. 🙂 I wasn't sure if that meant I should go ahead and download it. I know I'm probably being silly, but I wanted to respect your wishes. But hey, if I can play..I shall! Thanks.

    • Sorry for calling you a Reserve. You can have full beta membership status now! ::Fireworks go off:: Play away. Or... you can wait until Extemporaneous 0.41 which will be out by mid-week. And will fix all afore mentioned bugs. Your call, Fairy Godmoderator. (Very Witty)
