    • Yeah, I was wondering about ferazel_09's signature as well. (how old are you, also?)

    • Whom is the question posed to?

      ------------------
Crime? What crime?... That I killed a vile noxious insect, an old pawnbroker woman, of use to no one! ... Killing her was atonement for forty sins. ... (blood) Which all men shed, which flows and has always flowed in streams, which is split like champagne, and for which men are crowned benefactors of mankind.”

    • You can deduce my age from:

      1. I will be x+6 in the year x^2. (Assume integers)
      2. I am between 8 and 28

      ------------------
Most people are swindled into believing stupid things like Santa, the Tooth Fairy, God(s), etc.
They later side with common sense and stop believing in most of them.
Yet most refuse to let go of the ridiculous notion of the existence of God(s).

    • Duh! You're 14.

    • I've been told I can play anyowhere from 15 to 35.

    • Thanks! I have your age in my head! 😉

    • Emperor Ent - anything new on the way? I haven't seen any update yet. (Stuck in hotel room with cold and looking for something to do!)

    • Sorry, not ready yet. I am trying to get Queen Mab up to my standards. The next beta will be the last for Queen Mab, so I want it closer to perfect. Expect something by Friday night. I will e-mail all of you when it is done.

After I fix the new bugs, which I am sure you will find, I will work on The Gaunlet. Then I will beta it, and after all that I will finish Extemporaneous 0.4. And release it to the public.

    • Alrighty. I was going to wait for the update, but I couldn't. I'm having a bit of difficulty in Flight and Plight. When I speak to the grave digger (George Harrison) and the statue of the grave digger at the end...everything is fine for the first conversation. But when I encounter them again I go into a loop that I can't get out of. I can't leave the conversation and am forced to reboot the computer. Anyone else experience this?

    • Do you mean run-on conversations? I have seen that before, but not there. Usually pressing Esc can get you out of conversations.

George Harrison just keeps saying, "Leave me alone, I'm sleeping!" Hitting escape or any other button just brings the same message up over and over. I have to restart the computer to get out of it. The statue..I believe the message is from Ferazel and it says, "Gee, I wonder if he really means it?" Again..hitting a button just brings the message up again. There's no way to escape the conversation. I hope someone else can check this out to verify it. 🙂

Ok..need to make a correction here: hitting "escape" WILL take me out of the conversation. It didn't work yesterday but I had something else going on in the background and I can't do that and play Ferazel. But hitting the "escape" button is the only thing that will work for those two conversations. There must not be an ending flag.

Going to go back and play some more...it's good to know that I'm not the only one who can't get that door open in Magical Mystery Tour. 🙂

    • It happened again - Magic Potions disappeared, and I'm certain this time that I didn't use them.

I had 3 health potions and two magic potions when I left George Harrison's house. Then when I was on my way out of the level, after talking to George up near the exit - Poof - there they were - gone! Just the magic ones though - still had the health ones. Is George a pick pocket on the side?

I'll go back to a saved game and try to leave without talking to George and see if my treasure trove is still intact.

    • No conversation flag to end conversation with Queen Mab either.Have to escape out. And her guards never can talk to me. Should they? I don't know how to get to the next level! Where is this Feruese thing that everyone keeps mentioning? I assume that's where I get the ice pick to open that wall in Magical Mystery Tour. Unless..does one of the levels have a second exit that I've missed? I don't have all the secrets in Magical Mystery Tour..but I thought that was because of the room I can't get into yet. I'll go back to MMT and check it out. 🙂

How did you get through to Queen Mab????

Yes, there is another exit in MMT. Go to the far left bottom after you get your magic carpet. That should help you out!

You're asking how I got through the quicksand? I don't know!! I hit that ridge the first time I played through, then I went back and tried again and it was just gone. I ran right through. I can't explain it

    • It seems I have to fix all the conversations before next beta release. I didn't have her guards say anything, should they? I will try to work on it a lot tonight. I didn't realize there were so many crippling bugs. My advice is as such, stop playing Extemporaneous until the next release. I wish I had checked it more before I posted it. I am horrible with deadlines, as I am sure you guys have noticed, therefore I will try to aim for Monday as the next beta release.

Here is the list of what I must fix: (feel free to add more)

•Fix all conversations: check perm flags and action commands
•Work on Magical Mystery Tour: Fix Ice Room and make secret exit easier to access, no firesseds nessacary
•Kingdom of Queen Mab: This is what I have been focusing my dwindling energies upon. I fixed many of the problems (I think): Quicksand part, acid traps, Rock Droppers, and again, conversations
      •Anything else?

I will work on that stuff for Monday.

I found it!! Thanks! I had originally gotten those four xichrons that were buried there, but thought I had blasted away at virtually everything to make sure there were no more hidden pathways. I somehow missed it, I guess.

Egads, Fameuse is HARD. I never found that purple pool either. I also had to cheat to get through it.Exactly the same cheats that MonsterLady chose. Two resurrection necklaces and a couple magic potions. I was rather ticked to do so. Yeah, stationary ledges will help...and a purple pool will also help! Even then, it will still be extremely tough to beat them.

Ok, I used the mist potion to get to the secret room clear back on the first level. The one that's at the very end of the level. It has a red xichron in it and a smite ring and some various other thingies. Is there another way into that room?

I can't think of any other bugs other than the ones MonsterLady mentioned and the conversation ones that I did. I didn't experience the disappearing potions..but I think I'll play through again and pay better attention. Maybe I just didn't notice?

      Great job..it's a lot of fun. 🙂

    • The first conversation you have mentions: "two out of five ain't bad" That is a tiny clue to help you enter the secret room of your father.
