I have returned! And just when I thought my creative juices were dry... Voila!
Well I was soking up Canada's majesty, glory, and great px backgrounds, I drew out the plans for several new levels.
Midnight Run
To follow MMT and proceed Scorced Earth
After reading Charles Grodin's memoir I felt I needed to do something to honor him. So how about a 2-3 minute run through the blackest night in a evil forest?
L' Enfer Congele
To follow MMT and proceed Famuese
A deadly ice level inspired by my journeys around the treacherously slippery Roche of Perce (a wonderful vacationing spot.)
Ketzerverbrennung
To follow Scorched Earth
Enter into the heart of darkness where the walls are lite with the burning of the innocent.
Valley of the Shadows
To follow Ketzerverbrennung
The level is just in the rough stages of conciousness, more as it develops in the mind of a genius.
Chance to make: 80%
Untitled
To follow Valley of the Shadows
Ever been in a volcano?
Chance to make: 20%
Triptych
To follow Maxwell's Sivler Hammer (title tenative)
Leap into danger and face a triple threat in an effort to recover Maxwell's Silver Hammer.
Normandy (title tenative)
To follow Halls of Crapulence
Begin the final effort to destroy the Mandraki forces with the help of your allies.
Plains of Despair
To follow Normandy
Led the invasion on Mandraki soil.
The Final Battle (title tenative)
To follow Plains of Despair
The Hamlet-esque end of Extemporaneous.
This means I now plan to have 20+ levels (including a truly secret level.)
So the good news is:
I am back and with a bunch of new ideas. Including a dramatic ending, a more detailed plot, a bundle of new characters to meet.
Bad news is:
*A whole lot of work for me, besides the other things which beg for my attention.
*I am thinking about holding new levels until Christmas for the final release, if I make that deadline.
*I started Dune. It is very good. Must return to Arrakis. Farewell, for now....
