Well you should have a 'tentative title', or 'codename' if you choose to call it that, that you can safely refer to your game without struggling to keep the identity of your projects real name secret. If you do not feel up to the task, I'll shall give one to you: (If Deb decides to do so), the working title for her project is: Waterjinx. As random as this may sound, you can safely have discussions about your project without revealing the true identity of the project, whilst the title has nothing to do with your project (but I have needed a name for a seaboss for some time, and the time it took me to write this reply, I think I came up with one, but you can use it for the time being.
As for my workings (I have about 3 as of now):
'Project Doomsnare' - is a revamped old-school style sort of an RPG (Although some tend to think of Dark Tides when this is mentioned, I'm going for a similar look as well, but unfortunately for me the 'Team' that is working on DT will hit their mark earlier than I will be able to (Congrats to Myshkyn and company for their work on the project thus far)). Doomsnare is about 60% complete in the preproduction area, but due to lack of pixel are at the moment, this is all I can do. But this game WILL be fully planned out beforehand before I make the jump to Coldstone, so.....there.
'Project Zero' - is the project I spilled beforehand which is coming along slowly but surely, with about 10% preproduction planning complete, and I am going to use some of the art that came with Coldstone as a Nostalgic feel (but no more of that green grass or the town houses or the ugly main hero, the sci-fi stuff. I will mix it with original stuff as well.
'Project Fara' - Is more of a 'get your feet wet with the powers of Coldstone' more than anything else. I want to port over a game from Nintendo, one that I seems that about 10 people in this world have played. I thought that I was quite interesting, and it matches so much with what CS can do. I want to recreate it, and perhaps redo it to make it better. This project is not merely a redone port, but hopefully I can bring out the inner beauty that I saw and rework it so that more people can and will enjoy it.
I was looking at reworking the Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy Series, but those are just headaches waiting to happen. But with the Zerowarrior, you never know. I'm glad to hear of others really doing great things with CS, and I hope that more will come, and maybe give the attention to Coldstone that it so desperately needs.
Maybe Ambrosia and Beenox should stir up some talks with Apple. Maybe Apple would be interested.......would be cool to see this happen.
Whew...I need a rest...I wrote quite a bit, didn't I?
