    • 24 bit pics ?...

I'm using Flash to create 2D animations or compositions of different 3D animations... I export a pict sequence of these animations and select the 24bit format out... And then, I have some pics that are defectuous when I compile them into the Cs animation editor (black parts)... Flash is proposing me 12bit and 8bit (and also a 32 with alpha chanel that I can't use for CS)... Could I use 12bits with no problems ?... What do you think ?...

    • I dont know really, but I think 8 bit might be OK, you should use 16 bit, but since you cant choose that, I dont know(if you dont want to save the pictures from photoshop or something else, of course). I've used greyscale too, wich is 2 bits, isn't it? Or is it 4? Well, anyway, that doesn't work so either try 8 or 12 bits, or save the images in another program as 16 bits.

    • Well, I think for more security I'll have all my pics treated through GraphicConverter to get 16bit for sure...

    • 8 bit pics did not work for me. The manual calls for 16 bit, and that is what Coldstone likes best.
