    • Release and Full Version ?

Let's try to make this fast : I love Coldstone and I'm dying to create my game...

I can't get a copy of coldstone, ok, I know now...

BUT : The demo I have is working fine under OS 9... So, why can't I purchase a Coldstone CD, knowing that I can only use it under OS9 for the moment and maybe forever (but this, I accept, I'm cool, I love your company and I take the risk...) ?...

Because, everybody else here seems to have fun with coldstone, creating great games and exploring all arcanes of programing, except the poor ones who sent their application form too late...

It seems unfair... I'm sure there should be alternative / temporary solutions like : why don't you give for free a code that works for 5 days, allowing you to work with a full version... Or allow me to purchase a CD ?... Or release a new demo with at least 60 events and 15 characters, etc ?...

Or else, what ?.. Nothing ?...

PS : I'm not the guy going to Ebay to get a coldstone CD or getting craked license codes so, please, propose me a real solution...

And, of course, the software is great, fantastic... Hi to everybody there... Etc...

    • Well, personally if I don't care either way if you get your disk or not, but let me warn you: some people here think that this type of thing should not be permitted, and because of that you may get a flame or two.

Also, the rumor is that a version of CS that runs in (and compiles games for) Panther is almost done. Carm'll then probably send it out for a few weeks of testing, and then CS'll go back on the market. Until then I advise you sit tight and make graphics. This is usually the aspect of the game-making that takes the longest, so you might as well get to work.

By the way, welcome to the boards!

EDIT: Why is this board the only one I've been to that doesn't have the and tags?

    • Thanks for your support and the new hope you bring me...
As for graphics : you surely right there, and I'm already working on it... But I would also like to have a view on the Cd graphics first...

There's not really a lot that isn't included with the demo version. It's just more of the same.

    • Really ?... But I'm sure I read somewhere the Cd was including graphics (at least some) from PoG ?... No ?... My mistake ?...

      ------------------

    • If you want to see the PoG graphics then DL the PoG full game (not demo) and then use CS to make a plugin. Then select the PoG plugin file as the plugin source. Voila, all the PoG (non-trinity) graphics (take screenshots if you really want them). However, note that many of them are NOT on the CD and thus, you shouldn't use them (i.e. don't use any of them). Also, if you use the CS default graphics, even a few, the game can start to look like a PoG clone... Not a good thing...

    • We're not the people to offer solutions anyway. We're just board members, not the company itself.

Welcome to the boards! I know it's difficult to wait, but I don't see any other way.

Graphics that come with Coldstone have about a 30 degree downward view.
