Who wants to do a bit of hacking (into my "secure" program), eh? I've (hopefully) perfected my installation mechanism and it should run fine without any of you being able to exploit any security problems... So....
I'd like all of you Mac OS X users to download the installer for one of my programs (the program is freeware, but you can get a much better word counter on versiontracker.com...) and try hack into it (against my security measures...). For those that don't know, you can access the package contents by ctrl-click -> Show Contents. Hint: If you can modify the InstallationCheck file in the Resources directory so it has no contents (i.e. it's an empty file) that would work. However, I find that if you change it's permissions then the package won't work. Anyway, go ahead and see how you do. If you get stuck and would like to just install the package then the code is "abc-123".
You can download it here.
Good luck on breaking in (well I should say bad luck... If you can't break then in it worked!)
P.S. When you actually try to install it (non-hacking), then you must either run it from the DMG disk or the computer with the DMG mounted
EDIT: I hope it sounds less like a hacking utility now
