    • October Progress report


      Hi All. Yes I know that today is the first of November, but here is the October progress report for my game. Things have been moving very slowly, as several projects at work have taken up most of my free time. I did manage to create 2 small models for my faerie village map. I am sill waiting for feedback in regards to the first draft of my script for several people (you know who you are) 🙂 Hopefully November will be a better month.

    • I have got quite far with Situation:RED and have got quite a lot of the beach finished. I am starting to doubt that I will get this finished for when I said. The beach is only the first small part and I have yet to design the rest of it. I took them 2 years to create Myst with about 20 people drawing, animating, producing sound and putting it all together. I am 1 person so it should take a while
      Space is getting no where but that is because I have been concentrating on Situation: RED.
      My new game for the CGE Showcase is coming together very fast. I have made the starting village and some of the interface elements. I have also made some music for it and added the starting story.

    • Fall of Abodon is going great, some progress, just need to insert all of the proper NPC's into the towns and roads. Right now running at about 10 maps out of approx 230. Long ways to go.

    • Working on maps still. Checked all of the global events so far and made them slicker (ie, more logically formed) and am now making the inn event array. Working on an exterior library graphic for the capital city.

      Legends is coming along quite nicely for the redesigned storyline. Unfortunatly my scanner broke and is in for repairs so I can't scan in any of the new art yet. :frown:

    • Well I'm working on my game at school (founded a club for it!) and it's doing alright. Basic interface mostly done. A few inventory pictures of swords, shields, etc. just coming out of the concept phase. Plot is nearing final version. Not much bad to say 🙂

    • Apparently, our artist thinks he can also work on some soccer shareware game somebody else is developing. Despite this, we really would like to have a sort of demo out at the end of the month. By sort of demo I mean a couple areas, monsters, and characters from the game that you can kind of just play around it. I wanted it to be set up so you could level up, defeat the boss, and then be rewarded with some short animation from the game, but I don't think that's going to happen.

      Anyway, I'll announce it when we get the demo out.
