Ok. Due to the IMMENSE lack of enthusiasm about me creating a new game (all you did was point out how bad my idea of an open storyline was :frown:) and the lack of support, i will go for it by myself with perhaps a music composer. I will have more information once I get further under way. If anyone can do graphics and would like to help, then more people could be added on (i.e. another programmer) but due the speed it will go as graphics are made, an extra programmer would not help things along very much. Anyone that can do graphics and would like to join my project, please contact me. I now HAVE decided on a game style, etc. It will be an RPG (duh!) set all over the world in the near future (i.e. 2030-21000 range). You will be working for the military as part of a special division of Special Operations. You get the picture...

Ill help with background graphic NOT character, and sry but i dont like to mess with 3D modelers so it whould mostly be 2D. That aside i would axpect a little money for my effort and a stable team that isnt disbanding in 3 weeks. If u have that. E-mail me.

Your idea sounds good. I have no time to help with your graphics, as I'm busy with my own game. Please know, though, that your ideas ARE really good. And many people ARE interested. It's just that many people are involved with their own plugins and games. But you know that. And it's very difficult to be involved as a team. Nevertheless, your ideas have a lot of value. I especially appreciate your help on this board. I guess I see this board more as a venue for support, ideas, and community than for commitment or recruitment.

Yes, I agree that the main purpose of this board would be that, however, I think that it can be used as a recruitment board every once in a while ;). There are a bunch of peope here saying, "Man I wish I had time to make a game" or whatever, and I think that a team set up appeals to these people.

Now, back to recruiting (last post along these lines, really :p):
Anyone that wants to can sign up for any of the above, or they can email me. If enthusiasm for the project grows and more people are willing to help, I may extend the team. Oh, no, I didn't mean to imply that a person SHOULDN'T recruit. Why not? I'm just hoping that you won't feel badly if people don't respond to your recruitment, and for you to know that your ideas are appreciated. Heck, I'm glad you're active!!!
