      I've made a map, but when I tell it to create a map preview it either quits or creates a preview that is blank
      I am using Mac OS 10.2.3
      how can I create a preview that works?

      Also, how do I use doorways and stuff without teleporting?

    • Because of the way CS is coded, several features (like that one) don't work. However, you can switch to classic (not restart, just open the other CS in classic environment) and build a map preview there. For doors (if you mean a door to a house) you can have a solid roof that when you step into the door, a new semi-transparent roof is layed over the house and the old roof is removed. Then you can be inside the house. In most cases though, it is best to just teleport, unless, like with most houses, it is really small.

    • Will I be able to use the map preview in OSX? also, is there any difference between having a teleport spot, and something like a cave door leading to a new map? or does the door just have transport tiles in front of it?

    • Yes the preview will work in ten and it will appaer in the window.

      as for houses Dee once suggest puttin exteriors and interiors on different sides of the same map (access blocked appropreatly) then when the player entered a house use Map Position event to move him/her to the inside of the house.

      Teleport would cause the CGE to load a new screen.
