    • Game Screenshots Up!

      (url="http://"http://www.users.bigpond.com/marr.family/leadstoneproductions/stormvault/screenshots.html")http://www.users.big...creenshots.html(/url)

I'm not sure if this is really important enough to announce on the webboards, but DJ seemed interested, so I thought I might as well.

There are only four screenshots at the moment, but there are more to come, as soon as I get over some prohibiting glitches.

Beta testing, too, will soon be offered. Maybe late March.

I will put this on the websites section of the Coldstone area.

Any comments on the graphics or would be greatly appreciated.

    • That looks really neat. Graphics definitely need brushing up, but I like the primitive hand-drawn look much better than the primitive 3D look. 🙂

The autotrophic organisms are decidedly more verdent when located on an adjacent surface.

    • Good use of the watercolor/fresco filter.

Personally i wouldn't change a thing about it visually.

2 things...the last picture doesn't load. Have you had any luck with the turnBase combat/are you using a guide to construct it by chance?

    • very cool, id try and clean up the battle backgrounds a little, maybe if you have bryce it may work with decent rendering, the characters are cool, totally final fantasy, is that how it plays? like you run into someone then are transported to a battle map? that would be sweet. anywho the last picture wouldnt load for me, sucks you lost some of the art of whatever or it dissapeared off your comp, id run norton now and then and after disk doctor run defrag, it would suck to lose game files.

    • Thanks for the comments everyone.

I am actually using ellrx's trun-based combat system.
The backgrounds were rendered in Bryce, then filtered with smudgestick in photoshop to make them look a bit more authentic.
It doesn't matter about the graphics that I lost, because they were small and few, so I can easily redraw them.
The last image wasn't loading because Dreamweaver was playing up while I was uploading. I'm going to go back and fix that now.
