Something else maybe not too related to your previous pbm... I had pbms with sound, movie, and music with the PC version of my own game...
I then discovered something about Coldstone when, compiling for OS X, I got the same pbms... what s strange is that I compiled for OS X several times without pbm and suddenly, no sound nor music... I figured something out... if you want to compile properly do as follow: run under OS 9 (I havn t tested on OS X under classic but this should give the same result)... and whether you want to compile for PC or OS X, always check classic build along with whatever other version you want... I noticed that when compiling under OS X or compiling for a platform and having Classic not checked result in sounds missing, or video and maybe some pbms with the data0001... however, the classic for classic compiler works fine... so if you choose to compile for classic and OS X and PC, Coldstone will do as follow... create the classic game, then the classic app, and THEN it will create the OS X and PC app without bothering about the sounds, datas and else cause it has already been taken care of for the classic part
this solved my pbm for OS X... however I havn t tested this tip for the PC version so I m not sure it will solve the pbm but I ll make the test soon... however it reselved everything concerning the OS X app...
hope this will be useful for people (and concerning the PC pbms, yes, I verified my friends' PCs had directX8 and Quicktime 6.0.2...)
