Only if you're quick with the mouse or quick with your arrow keys. Ie, after you click on the target the player will attempt to walk there. Thus after you click on the target you will need to click somewhere else to change the player's intended path, or else use an arrow key to "interrupt" the path entirely.
Otherwise, I don't know of any way to, say, disallow mouse movement while allowing for mouse targetting.
