ive got the art and sounds part. my friend has the engine part. but niether of us has the music part talent wise. i was curious, in the pog downloads section i found tons of music, is that for use to make a sellable game or are some just testing to see if people like thier music? or both? i downloaded one song but it didnt have a read me. i cuold always email everyone whos songs i get. just curious to the intent of the pog add-on section i guess.

also do any of you know where you can buy cheap music, like sold from some site, or music loops of all kinds etc? any feedback would be really appreciated in this area as it seems to be our achilies heel.

I can't speak for anyone else, but the music I have up there you can feel free to use for fun or for a selling game. Do whatever you want with it- though credit for it would always be nice. If what's there isn't really what you're looking for, I could always write up some more music that's more fitting, though I'm already involved in another project at this time.
(Edit: Oh, my stuff is on the Coldstone addons page, not the POG addons page).

MP3.com has thousands of musicians from all over the world with music to listen to in every genre possible. Many would allow you to use their music for a minimal price or for free if you give them credit. Most of the musicians on there are freelance and are not owned by a label so they can do as they like with their music.

Just a thought.
