    • Question, area of effect attacks


      simple question, with all of the people experimenting with the coldstone engine, has anyone found a good way to make an attack that affects everything in a given area? If so, instructions?

    • You can sort of do it... but only with melee weapons.

      Get a weapon that has a damage of zero and a spell that targets "enemies" and has a good range. Have the weapon's "Hit" event link to an event that casts the spell. The only problem is that this will also hit people behind you. Beenox really needs to make it possible to have a spell cast at coordinates. i.e. cast spellx 2 squares above the player. until then, I think my above example is the best you can do, though I'm not sure, as I don't consider myself an expert yet.

    • Well I'm sure there are plenty of wonderful features that we'd love to see added to coldstone but I guess that the answer is no and that it will remain no.

      The problem with me is that I want to make lots of scenes with lots of enemies, so that would be a definite no.
