    • Could someone please tell me where (on the web) I could find a demo/trial/full version of Poser (preferrably version 4.)

      Thanks again!

    • Have you looked at the open-source BlenderCreater? Being open-source it is free to download and use. Depending on what you want to model or render it may be just what you're after.
Have a look at (url="http://"http://www.elysiun.com/gallery.php")http://www.elysiun.com/gallery.php(/url) to see what it can be used for.

      Go here. (url="http://"http://www.curiouslabs.com/products/poser4/html/poser4demo.html")http://www.curiousla...poser4demo.html(/url)

Then it will give you another link. I use Poser all the time. It's well worth it.

    • Isn't BlenderCreater just for Unix and Windows? By the way, is anyone using Lightwave 3D?

    • There is a native Mac OS X version available, haven't seen a classic version though.
One downside of it - I have found it hard to get good documentation and tutorials on it. They are there, but most of them assume a lot of prior knowledge.

I don't know enough about this stuff to offer a meaningful comparison of it and poser, just thought it was worth mentioning.
