1 and 3, use Photoshop (or whatever other program you want). 2, read the tutorial.

You might want to do a few searches. There is a (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/search.cgi?action=intro&default;=48")search(/url) feature. If that link doesn't work, a search link is near the top. I would suggest you search for graphics and images. Most of what you are asking has already been answered before.
Also, the CS manual comes with the downloaded package. You might want to look at that before asking questions. In Acrobat, there is also a search feature that you might find helpful.
