I just think it'd be cool to know the people who post on this board a little more...
Therefore, hi everyone! My name is Seth Claus, and I am a senior in high school (don't know how to describe it to foreigners tho...). I like to do a little bit of programming (my biggest project is in my sig), and have fun in general. I'm hoping to get a big fat scholarship to go to college!

You don't want to know me...
I'm that ancient but far from decrepit man that wanders the canyons of the 4-corners area (Utah mostly) in search of nothing. However an occasional shamanic transformation and flight terrorizes a few river runners or Grand Gulch hikers. Good for a laugh though.
Seriously, I'm 62 and semi-retired. Been married often. Academically a theoretical physicist (General Relativity and Cosmology). Practitioner of the brown arts and lover of all things bright and beautiful. Computers and CG have been part of my life for 31 years (1965). Every now and then my left and right brain hemispheres get into small disagreements so I just fly off 'til the haze lifts. The 'do not disturb' sign lights up where my eyes were.
Escape to the Pacific NorthWest as often as possible (San Juan Islands).

Wow, its been a long time since Ive been on these boards. I didnt even post very often back in the day, but any chance for shameless self promotion and Im there.
Im a 21 year old Japanese major currently studying abroad in the wide world of Tokyo. Im mostly into music, of which I listen to all sorts of wacky stuff. I like Kraftwerk, Gary Numan, Takako Minekawa, Judy and Mary, David Bowie, and just about anything I can get my hands on that doesnt have a 5 guys dancing in it.
I want to get into games, which is why Ive checked the update page nearly everyday since oct of 2000 (i think) back before even ambrosia was involved. Possibly I want to get into sound design, although I also very much like graphics.
Currently I maintain a website, (url="http://"http://www.szkandelous.f2s.com/japan")www.szkandelous.f2s.com/japan(/url) which Im trying to boost readership of, so if you like it, tell your friends. Right now its just my experiences over here, but soon I plan on opening a Tokyo local music page (maybe within the next two weeks). The sites behaving funny right now, so sorry if it doesnt load.
Anyway, Later board

Heh, cool. My grandparents both live in Anacortes...for some reason, the name of the island slips my mind at the moment, but right next to Whidbey. My cousins vacation to Decatur every year.

Ahhh Yes... That be Fidalgo Is. I go to the slightly infamous but truly wonderful Waldron Is. just NW of Orcas Is.
I bet that you probably have relatives that have been to Moab, UT. as well... It seems that SE Utah and the San Juan Is. are frequented by the same folks.

Hey. My name is Dave Judd and I live in Ontario, Canada. I don't have way too much to say about myself... I just posted because I didn't want to be the only one who didn't. My interests/"methods of wasting my time" include art, reading and computers. Original, huh? I'm waiting for CGE to come out so I can further develop this idea I've had since I was about 12 years old (I've been looking for something just like CGE for a while). When I was 12, my original inspiration for my game idea came from The Hobbit and LotR. Also, very original.... Anyway, I guess I'll have a site up about it eventually... Probably whenever CGE is released, but until then I look forward to playing everyone's great games!
I'm 15 now, by the way.

Indeed! Lovely place to live. I don't know where you are, Beeblebrox, but if you're somewhere in NSW then to the best of my knowledge you're one of three people on these boards... most of the Aussies here come from Victoria or Hobart... weird, I think !

Why not, everyone should meet the man behind the myth...
My name is Evan Williams, and I live in Nevada. (And you Oregoniansthought you had it bad.) As my username implies, i love music. I love listening to, writing, playing, and pretty much anything else you can do with music. I'm a senior in high school, and hoping to attend CSULB. That's C alifornia S tate U niversity L ong B each. (That was for the young 'uns in here who are acquainted with the college-talk yet) I want to major in .... you guessed it...music. Not married (come on, i'm in high school) but there is a girl i've been seeing for 2 years now that i'm hoping one day will say yes.....(wow, a little too sentimental for a webboard, i think) But seriously, that's who i am in a nutshell.

I've been struggling with the possibilities of such for some time now... but the fieldwork is sooo time consuming!
I've got the terrain fairly well covered (it is right out my back door) but I'm just not sure of the tool (Coldstone).
But, let me give it some more time. However, if you have any ideas just fire away!
At one point I was considering beginning the game with one of the frequent 'Abbeyfests' held around here and going from there.
The possibilities are nearly endless... Abbey was a gifted writer and humorous adventures abound as well! And then there are/were the more tragic...
