      This is an article from OHRMonthly, its a long (almost 300 page) semi-tutorial that i found while not working on my CGE game. I havent finished reading it but have found sections tobe useful to my game design.

    • after reading more, the first section while discussing interesting topics, is very high brow and takes awhile to digest. i suggest skipping to the second section the 'Making and Planning' part here:

      it goes into how to plan and organize your plan and is a good paradigm in game building
