If I've just completely missed this functionality in Coldstone, just ignore this.

In the map editor, you have a list of events that you can "paint" locators for (the little question marks). It seems, though, that once you've created these locators, there is no way to either: tell them apart from other event locators, or tell which event they belong to. If there was a cycling palette of, say, 8 colors that markers got painted in, we could visually (and quickly) see which event they belong to.

I nabbed this from painting weight maps in XSI: they color-code each bone and you paint the weights in the bone's color. Identification is easy and fairly immediate.

Great work, Beenox! Definitely the most well-rounded and complete game authoring system for regular humans out there!
