I think i already mailed you about this, but for the other testers. Could you load Time Town (Nexus)? I got the "increase memory allocation" error, increased Ferazel's memory up to 50 megs to be sure, but got the same error message. Dr. Tall, you said you alpha tested your own. Did you have any problems?

Uh-oh! Not that memory message again! I got that message, but for a different level. The error means it can't find the level--you did not install Dr. Tall land correctly.

Yes, FerazelFreak, make sure that you have correctly installed all of Dr Tall Land's levels 1-52. You seem fine on levels 1 and 3-20. The nexus level is 26. Check to be sure you have it.
Oh and Cat99, by your reports, it appears you skipped level 5, The Tree Trunk. This is ok since that is a secret level, but you'll need the Tree Trunk spell eventually. Hope you didn't waste that mist potion! 
To all, be sure to save your game before you use a mist potion, I find that helps. A lot of the things you must get with mist potions are not secret, they are required. However, the last time you have to use one is in the Castle Realm.
One last note, FerazelFreak, after you get past the Nexus level and all the way up the mountain, you will find the training facilities to become a lieutenant. Lieutenant is level....umm I think its four, let me check..
0. Civilian

4. Sergeant
5. Lieutenant
6. 2nd Class Lieutenant
7. Commander
8. General
9. 2 Star General
10. 3 Star General
11. 4 Star General
12. 5 Star General
No a lieutenant is level 5. There are three courses on the Mountain path you must take, although the first one is in Executive Shaft, a level you have open.
By the end of the game, you must be a 2 Star General, the courses after that have no impact on the game...unless you'd like to see the situation in the level Operation 702 resolved. If any of my testers are completely lost, tell me and I also have a list of all the training faciclities....and the solution to the labyrinth for that matter.
Also, I'll be interested to see who is the first person to come up with the secret message, beta tester or not. The large clusters of torches usually make a letter. If a secret spot sound plays when you jump into the lights, you know you've found one.
How many Algernon Shards do you have, Ferazel freak? By now, I would think you should have one shard and the frame.

Nice double post there. Umm I do not know about the amount of damage they do, but the tree trunk uses much more magic than the fire ball does. I am not sure if cat got the tree trunk spell...he made no comments about the level so either it's perfect....or he was never there. OK, I'm glad you have the frame and the one shard. You're right on track.

Yeah, I was just copying and pasting and got the "end of file" error so I did it again and I got the out of memory error, and both times I only had 2 left!!! Bye the way, Tall, you might want to let pigfromhell beta as he did mine a few months back and did a great job. he should tell you this pretty soon. Tall, could you just stuff your world data and email it to me? that would save a whole lotta trouble! (9 mb & under please)

No, I have all my beta testers thank you. No, I cannot send you my file. AOL does not allow transfers of 1MB+ to go by uncorupted. The upload thing is the only way. My stuffit expander cannot stuff it all at once for some reason. If I tried, it would take hours. I might let it run all night stuffing for the final version but you beta testers can assemble the file. Just start from scratch instead of trying to add to your old Dr Tall Land file. Is that what you did?

OK, I spent about 15 minutes stuffing the file (wasn't so bad) and uploaded it. Go to the original directory (http://drtalll.tripod.com) and download the file "Dr Tall Land World Data.sit". This is it! The entire Dr Tall Land World Data File! Good for go. Right after you unstuff it, it is ready for action, you don't even need to put in the World Select screen PICT. Hope this clears up all your problems. If for some odd reason, you want the original levels, view the directory, Old Files. Note, these levels that I just uploaded contain all the bug fixes so far, including See Ferazel Run's expansion.
