I've heard complaints that hardly anyone visits the Coldstone Corner (url="http://"http://www.bigredh.com/")Hotline(/url) server. It's had a lot of uploads, and now (thanks to me) is stocked with plenty of helpful tools such as 3D modeling programs, Quicktime movie editors and players, and even a music synthisizer. There are many development tools you are free to download and use, freeware and shareware.

If you don't have (url="http://"http://www.bigredh.com/")Hotline(/url) click on the link and get it, it's a good thing to have even if you don't plan on visiting the coldstone server, there are plenty of things to find there.

Once you have an account, connect to 65.4.86.190 and look arround, if you plan on making an RPG, you should start learning to make sprites and music now!

I've been waiting to write my own computer RPGs since I grew out of playing videogames. I'm allready figuring out how to use photoshop and some other helpful things, like an app that lets you make your own fonts! It's $99 US but it's worth it!

Hotline is a great thing to have, there are demo servers like mac addict, where you can get demos and freeware games, and the Coldstone Corner server's adress is 65.4.86.190. Copy the adress, download (url="http://"http://www.bigredh.com/")Hotline(/url) create a new user inside hotline client, and select "Connect". Paste the server adress into the "connect" field, but leave the other two blank. Chat with GlueBubble and Necromicon, and have fun.
