      In the case of the screenshot in question, when the player reaches a certain level, it can trigger an event (which can be just about anything in the game). You might make certain quests available only after they've reached a certain experience level, or some major catastrophe could befall the world, or the player could be teleported to a gladatorial arena to prove they deserved the level, etc.

      Sounds very cool andrew. I know this is probably in the FAQ but, will there be a way to change how your character looks after a certain level (like class changes for those of your who have played Seiken Densetsu 3).

      Yes, any event can happen when you change levels (and changing graphics is an event) -- in fact, a series of events can happen.
