I know this is not an Ambrosia game but I need to ask a few things about this game.

Favorite scenario.

Favorite weapon.

Most wanted weapon

For the first one, I have now decided that CitC is my absolute favorite scenario. I have also decided that (currently) my favorite weapons are the Iceblade, the War Axe of strength +2, the Bow of Shalomir(sp?)+2, and the Longsword +3.

My questing has brought me to want a few weapons. I would love to have the Flamesword and the Excalibur. I don't doubt too much that I could probably find one of those two in CitC. I found the Iceblade after fighting two Hell Dragons in the underworld of CitC. I found the Bow of Shalomir +2 in the castle armory. I find longswords +3 against an evil King's army. It is a fun game and a great scenario. I haven't even registered to find the more secretive areas of the game (there are several different places I need to input the code). When you get a chance, get this scenario, you will have fun.

I can't really see why this was locked. It wasn't moved to another forum, and no reason was posted. I know it hasn't much to do with Coldstone, but I was planing on doing some consumer research on weapons for my game anyway. I'll just use this topic. If Dee or andrew have any objections to me opening it, I'll be happy to listen to them.

Anywayz, to answer your question; Although i have only played the City of Bywater Scenario, I thought the whip you get when destroying the spider tower was very cool, and it had a wicked sound as well. My game's gonna have Energy Whips in it.

Yes, I found that info that was missing to why it was locked to be bizarre. I hated that whip. It wasn't any good compared to other weapons (throwing axe of sketch) or the Bow Of Shalomir (gives you +2 arrows and a bit more damage from bow). I like the War Axe of Strength +2. Sorry but the Bow is found in CitC but the Bow +1 is found in CoB. Same as War Axe of Strength. I say to program in an Iceblade or a similar weapon to it.

BTW, the Iceblade is similar to the Frozen Viper, but it is a sword and it can do a lot more damage. It gives you 3-15 damage+special and it gives you a 10% hit bonus. Favorite equiptment is the Robe of Speed. It gives the charactor wearing it so much movement points (up to 30) and up to his max in hits!! It is great. I found this in CitC too. The funny thing is, I haven't even registered the game!! This means that I probably don't have the best weapons to be found in it.

--I must agree with you. That bow is great. And all you have to do to get it is kill a few thieves! Ha! I have tried all the other weapons, but they're not good enough. Not even the Iceblade!

I've been almost everywhere you can get without registering it. The only problem with registering is that I don't have money and christmas is in a couple months. I have still to defeat the damn king (his group is tough) and steal his sword (probably a cursed weapon (I seem to find a lot of them {found the Sword Of Lost Souls and the Sword of No Redemption(nice but cursed)})). That battle has beaten me 5 times now. I love it though. They kill me by hitting my sorceress so she can't cast (every damn turn too). They kill my Cardinal the first turn, they kil my guy with the WAOS+2 and five attacks on the first turn (damn king and his sword) and gradually kill the rest of them. The last time I beat them down to one Hell Beast Warlord who then killed my last Berzerker (L.9 with IceBlade and 3 attacks(brawn=25, int=19, judge=17(very good roll for this guy)). It is a fun battle.

Gav, ever play Prelude to Pestilence? It has the cap of spells and the necklace of spells too. Oh yea, the Necklace of Shen gives the wearer +60 magic points. How about that for coolness?

Do you mean the Penetration Tip Sword +2 you find in CoB? I much prefer the IceBlade to that. Where do you find the War Hammer +6?? I only have a Quarter Staff +3 for my Cardinal.

Now, which battle shall yow be talking about? Is it that city to the very north in the mountains which is really annoying to find? If it is, then you cannot fight crap! My 6 level 20 guys defeated them with ease! Oh, and his sword is cack. I threw it away instantly. However, if you're talking about a different king, all I can say is....oops, sorry.

BTW, do you raise your characters from level 1, or do you cheat and pick them like level 10 and stuff? With only Realmz 4.2, the max level you can get at the beginning is 12. Still, I started mine at 1. After about 12131313213213213132131312321321313431351 hours of playing, I got them up to level 20.

For some odd reason my computer doesn't unstuff .sit files. DtN is a .sit file. Same with AoGM. Damn. No no no. I meant the city to the west of the McBane city on CitC. It will not open unless you defeat the thieves. The battle was won today. I got an enchanter (L.1) with the Dragon Hide spell to cast the spell and make it easier for me. Also creating scrolls helped too. I am really good at this. I don't play too much (maybe 14-30 hrs a week) and I already have my guys at L.10. I start at L.1. Any other way is cheating. My former group (before the taking out and adding) was 2 Berserkers (bad planning on my part), 1 sorceress (L8, 330mp), 1 Cardinal (heal wounds and revive dead at L7 with 186mp), 1 Fencer (equipped with a Penetration Tip Sword +2 no less), and an Archer (L9 with 55hp). I got rid of the archer, she wasn't that good.

Version 4.2??! That is a really old version of it. Methinks it is time for you to get the new version (7.1.2). It can allow you to start guys at L30(very cheap) and gives Berserkers resistant to fire.
