OK, Armanus Zero is the title of the game I plan to create with this wonderful tool we have been blessed with. Here's the background to the plot I've quickly hashed out, I'd appreciate any comments / critisicm / corrections you have.

After the European Union merged to become one single governing body, to govern over the country now known as Europa. The United Eastern Countries decided that the forces of Europe were too strong to be left alone, and declared war. Although both sides had full nuclear capabilities, neither side wanted to use them, so the war was fought in the trenches rather than in the bunkers. By 2016, the casualties were running into the hundreds of millions, and both Europa and the countries governed by the UEC were falling into poverty. When the Europan government enlisted the help of the United States of America, the UEC launched nuclear warheads at every major city in America, causing billions to die and leaving the whole American continent horribly scarred. The Nuclear radiation caused whether patterns to go wild, blowing nuclear winds into South America and Canada, killing or mutating everything that stood in it's way.
The world reeled in shock at the swiftness and brutality of the attack, and almost overnight, the UEC invaded southern Russia and the western coast of Africa. Satisfied with their strategical position the UEC held their ground, and waited for Europa to make their next move. A hasty treaty was formed which joined the forces of the remaining Russian terror tries and the unoccupied African countries. The only countries who remained neutral, was the Australias and the small independent islands spread across the world.
The world is in economic and ecological disorder. The rate of exchange between each country is as erratic as the every changing ozone layer, which is now a weak shell against the harmful rays of the sun. The rich aristocrats and politicians inhabit the colony built on the moon, commanding the forces of earth as if they were mere pawns. Into this world you are born. Being a native Australian, you remain neutral in the UEC/Europa war.
