I am probably making a statement of the incredibly obvious, but does everyone realize the implications of Coldstone, if it lives up to what it's supposed to? (And I'm sure it will, considering the considerable clout of the two companies behind it...)
There are hundreds, sorry, literaly thousands of artists out there brimming with truly good ideas. Most of these people know proggraming like Bill Gates knows credit card debt. Furthermore, let's face it, high level proggraming is about as easy to learn as applied metaphysics. And frankly, while there a lot of them out there, programers tend to have the imagination of a Casio Calculator. That's why combinations of talent like, say, to take an example, ahem Matt Burch (What?! Me? A fan? No, I don't become a fan. Fans don't have lives. No. I am not a fan. Uhh..... would you please sign this?) are very rare, and very noticeable...
But if all that latent raw talent could be unleashed... the difference to the game market from this product alone could be amazing.
Ambrosia is smart to consider distributing the best ones, because there are going to be a few true gems, I bet.
