If you plan on adding a sound, you will have to do some editing somewhere along the way. SoundEdit 16 from Macromedia is the professional's sound editing tool, but also carries a professional price tag. There are several shareware sound editing tools available from the Internet as well. Whatever you use, make sure you can export the sound as 11 kHz mono format with no compression, since this is the format EV uses. The ability to write directly to the resource fork of your plug-in file is also a handy feature.

EVN: the title music should be an MP3 file. You have more options with the format for in-game sounds - the easiest way is to copy an EVN resource into your sound editor and then use the same format for your sound.
