Author's Notes

The Galactic Times is the continuation, or rather, the preface to Robert E. Verden's small adventures in the EV manual. While I know it was only there for a bit of fun, or maybe to interest the reader more, I was intrigued by it at the time, and felt like writing some fiction in there. I composed the first chapter in a night, and then edited it whenever I re-discovered the file on my hard drive; that is why in my opinion the first one is so great. The rest were composed for a newsletter that Luc Benyan had put together. Like many projects, however, I quickly lost interest, and then our family decided to go on a trip, so The Galactic Times lay there dormant on my web server for over three years.

I like it alot. Please write more of this story.
