May 5th: He'd NEVER forget that day. that was the day that he'd bought his first spacecraft: a gleaming (run down, really) shuttlecraft. He'd paid extra for a special deal, a full compliment of 3 blaze cannons, and gotten twenty creds off, too! He grinned as he strapped in to the chair and activated thrust. "I'm probably a natural at this," he thought. He heard a scrape of metal, cursed under his breath, and pulled the lever to de-magnetize his landing struts.

Once he was off Earth and out of the grav pull, he initiated hyperdrive. He saw something blue flash to his right, just barely off- screen. As he rotated his craft to discover the source, his SheildComp (by MacroSquish*) started to register multiple energy discharges to his port, and the shaking of the ship confirmed the normally useless computer's shockingly rare accuracy. He targeted the offending craft and his blood turned to ice. It was a Helian.

- It is hypothesized that MacroSquish is a descendent of a former company known as Microsoft, which was thought to have been crushed by a superior company, Macintosh. Either way, MacroSquish is extremely unpopular.
