We entered the Riomor system yesterday. Those needle missiles almost scrapped us. We left as soon as we entered taking note of the ships in the system. Ripper told me this was a good day. There were only 6 renegade ships. He told me there are usually a lot more. There were no unusual ships in the system either. "Good" I had said to myself, however, since our shields were down and we were relying on our weak armor. We have to land before we are scrapped.

After many days we found a "safe" place by following the edge of the nebula to a place called the South Tip Station. The name of the system is unpronounceable but I really don't care. As my ship was being repaired, I discover that the government is Strandless. They tell me it's like an independant system. However, I can't hear this as I look at where I am. The station is unlike any I have ever seen. The people are even more amazing. I am shocked to see my first alien besides a Voinian. They have amazing ships called Aradas and giant powerful ships called Crescent Warships. Even the tiny Crescnet fighters amaze me with their speed.
I will try to tell you my experience from the past few days. As I entered a system called Mavs I found the ships that General Titan was talking about. I was almost destroyed again by the far superior technology. I recorded each ship as they attacked me. Ripper tried to defend us by taking evasive action along with his amazing combat skills. But this was no match for these new ships. After jumping from the system I eventually found the Station where I am now. We are told they are just renegades and that they are trying to fend them off at every moment. There are supposedly more outposts and planets that have the same renegade problem around here. I take his word for it and I decide to leave and report back to Knox. I bid farewell to these strange aliens as I ask one more question. "Why are you called Strandless? Why not Independants?". They smirk and say "Visit the East". I wonder what they mean as I leave the station.

When I told the officials at Knox that the ships are just an alien renegade equivilent, they were not as happy as I thought they would be, but General Titan said not to worry. They can't help them right now with the Voinian threat. I told him about the East that someone at South Tip mentioned to me. He listened with interest as I told him of it. As I gave him the ship specs and descriptions he gazed at them amazed. He had seen something like it North of UE space. He told me to visit the North instead of the East. I ask why but he doesn't say. "You will be assigned a new first mate at Saalia. Ripper will stay here to help us with the relations with these 'Strandless' governments". I almost object to the idea of getting a new first mate but I think better of it. Tomorrow I make my way to Saalia.
