I got this idea from Thok on the FW Web board and thought it would work here. Anyone can post, but only one fact a day.

7/21: You can charge up your special move when the ball is stuck to your paddle. (eg. in the beginning of the game, or after the green bullseye powerup)

7/22: If you click before hitting the ball when you have the super smash (green bullseye) powerup, it won't stick to your paddle.

7/23: Using the magnet to bring down the ball, will make it so you don't send your opponent hollow bricks.

7/24: If you press X at the title screen, it will bring up various quotes.

Vacations over so...

8/29: (Double Tip :eek: ) The super smash powerup does not appear in easy mode.
If there is a new version of pop-pop a message will popup when you start the game.

If you hold down the up button while playing, your ball will move much faster. If you can get used to controlling it like this, you can clear bricks very quickly.

Could you elaborate on this? There is no assigned "up" button in Pop-Pop and nothing seems to happening when I hold the up arrow key. What's the secret?

yeah, actually mazca I do use the game from OS X and anklebiter is correct when he states that there is no such option box. So get your facts straight before you treat me like a newbie please. Though now that I know (or more like remember) that there is such a dialogue box in OS 9, I may fool around a bit in it to see what people were talking about...

That option box is for using the keyboard. I personally use the mouse. It works for me.

I would definitely classify this a bug-use. It is highly efficient and definitely not a wanted feature from the developer's point of view. People who use this should stop from three reasons.
1. It's not fair to people who do not know about it or use OS X.
2. It's not meant to be used, so it's definitely going to be fixed in a future update.
3. Cheating is the one most sensitive part when it comes to the survival of online games.

The point being made here is that doing that while you hold down the up arrow produces an even harder slam. Which, rightly, is unfair.
