Ok, so I'm in the middle of a game, and all of the sudden, my mouse button is unresponsive. To make sure this was just contained to pop-pop, I deactivated it, and clicked around the desktop. It worked.

So, I quit pop-pop, and restarted it. The mouse button resumed normal functioning.
A while later, the same thing happend.

So, is this a problem with my comp, or a bug?

Edit: During this time, the arrow icon was visible in pop-pop

The blinking arrow means that your connection to your opponent is not the best.

As for the mouse button not responding, I have the same problem from time to time. I find this to happen a lot when I close a chat box, and among other times. I have an old Mac, almost 4 years old now, a 266mhz G3.

For best performance, I have the music and the background water turned off, as well as quitting as many application as possible. This has made a huge difference!

Probably, as anklebiter mentioned, a background app problem.

But - I think the "arrow icon" you mention - did you mean the normal arrow cursor on top of the pop-pop yellow cursor? That is a known "bug" when you put your cursor near the top window title bar - the regular arrow will be drawn on top of the pop-pop yellow cursor. A bit weird - but harmless.

If you mean the two red arrows near the top of your screen - and they were flashing on and off - THAT is a network connection warning icon. Guess we should try to get a snapshot of it for the FAQ so we can explain it.

Because it doesn't need to be. OS X will give the program as much or as little memory as it needs.
