Manticores are also fun with 148Ā°/sec turn, 4 Thunderhead Lances, and lots of Fusion Pulses, turret and otherwise. Not quite ideal for anti-fighter, but it's amazingly fun to slice up Capships with. And I've still got 60T space free šŸ˜›
Ravens may be big and menacing, but Scarabs are definitely a lot cooler.

Inertialess can also be pretty annoying. I like the Ares-style accel/brake method, but I don't like being forced to go forward.

Ive done sooooo many of theas sortsa plugs, my desktop if full of them!! šŸ˜›
Any way i need somthing that takes along time to make, so that if i get stuck in EVN then i can continue the plug.
Ive made several (not very big) TC's (without new graphics) for EV (1*) EVO (1) and Ares (2), so ive got lotsa experiance with making them.

      Thanks for the tips!!!,
I realy need feed back on my plug Ideas.

BTW The TC's are not internet worthy (i don't even know how to get them on to it in the first place) šŸ™‚

    • And once again, Ares will be forgotten.

      Blagoonga!

    • Nope. I've already hit the unregistered cutoff on 5 of the storylines, and I refuse to do the Fed storyline. My parents (for some reason) aren't inclined towards doing the transaction for registration, so I'm back to Ares.

    • The Fed storyline does give me a dirty feeling. I guess clinical authoritarian brutality just isn't my thing...

Well, I've registered, and I've completed three storylines already. If you set your mind to it, you can plough through Nova pretty fast. Those vaunted rail guns aren't too difficult, once you get your skills worked up...

    • I just can't play the Fed storyline after the Vell-os storyline, for obvious reasons.

Now, I'm not a big ran of railguns. I'd much rather have Wraithii or a good Summer Bloom than bother with them. And dodging them from a range isn't actually that hard. Granted, the computer-controlled ships can't dodge too well, but human accuracy still doesn't work at those ranges, at least for me.

    • if you got long range front fireing weps but you arnt that good at shooting at long ranges then select the ship you want to fire at and fire away holding down A (auto pilot)

      Did that come out right?

    • I am back from my Nova spell! I indeed was sucked in too - ran the Polaris string and I'm pretty satisfied now. I need a new computer however, I get down to 4 fps when in battle with my 2 pulse lasers + my 6 fpcs going. Bad. (Check FPS by pressing F12)

    • I've gotten my G4 down to 3 fps taking over planets using my Raven and six more as escorts - NOT counting the fighters (!).

    • I felt decidedly icky after playing the Fed line.
